In one of the most challenging real estate markets in history, it’s impossible to ignore Adam Wavrunek’s consistent level of productivity. Each year since 2009, Wavrunek has been recognized by the Chicago Association of Realtors (CAR) as a Top Producing Real Estate Agent among the top 1% of its members. He also received twelve CAR Sales Awards in the same period for his achievements in residential sales volume and units sold.

Through the growth and evolution of his business, Wavrunek acknowledges that fostering and maintaining relationships has always been a priority.

“The thing that makes us different is we sincerely care about our clients and want them to make a great decision that leaves them happy and fulfilled,” Wavrunek says, “and with the peace of mind that comes with knowing they made the right move.

“Some brokers just want to make the sale, collect their commission and move on. We’d rather take the extra time and listen, and we’ve found that has benefited us so much over the years.

“We don’t want the lukewarm review that most brokers get from their clients,” Wavrunek adds. “We want to convert our customers to more of a brand ambassador, to where they will feel comfortable and confident referring us to family and friends. That’s what we strive for. This mindset has been the secret to our success.”

Wavrunek started his career in construction and worked his way up from a carpenter to sales and management positions with two different companies. But Wavrunek had a passion for real estate and knew he wanted to alter his career path.

“I always had an interest in it, and I had a friend of the family who had a lot of rental properties who started teaching me about the business,” Wavrunek says. “And I learned a lot from him.”

Wavrunek started his own venture on the side in 2003 and then took the full‐time leap a year later, starting with rehabs, condo conversions and rental properties. When the market trended down, he turned his focus more to the real estate brokerage side of the business, gaining traction with the influx of bank-owned properties in 2009. Today, Wavrunek and his team of brokers continue to be leaders in traditional, investment, short sale and REO real estate transactions.
